Celebrating Mother’s Day

Mom is a big deal. At all eight, Seattle-area, Era Living communities, Mother’s Day festivities have been designed to delight mom and please the entire family.

 

Aljoya Mercer Island is featuring a four-course Mother’s Day luncheon on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. Menu highlights include a choice of mahi mahi with mango, Thai-spiced chicken, or herb-roasted lamb.

 

Aljoya Thornton Place is serving a traditional Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday from 11a.m. until 2 p.m.

 

Ida Culver House Broadview pays homage to mothers all day long on Sunday with its film series about motherly relationships. There is nothing better than curling up, and watching a great movie with your mom.

 

Ida Culver House Ravenna offers family photos and a luncheon on Saturday with seatings at 11 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. All moms receive an orchid.

 

The Gardens at Town Square is featuring a grand brunch, fit for a queen, between 1 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday. The menu includes signature cocktails, a carving station with prime rib and salmon, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit platters, pastries and petits fours.

 

University House Issaquah offers Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, from 11a.m. until 4 p.m. The special brunch includes traditional favorites made with ingredients sourced from local farms.

 

University House Wallingford is featuring brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. The newly remodeled dining room will be decked out in pink. All moms receive flowers.
