“Northwest Watercolor Society” Art Show Opening Gala
University House Issaquah | Tuesday, June 6 at 4:00 pm
The Northwest Watercolor Society was founded 1939 in Seattle, with the goal to inspire and support its emerging and established member artists. Please join us for our opening gala. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. This exhibition showcases the mastery and versatility of the watercolor medium by demonstrating a range of different techniques and approaches to using water-based paint.

In this presentation, brought to us in partnership with the UW School of Pharmacy, we will discuss trends in CBD use in older adults in the US, potential benefits and harms, and things to keep in mind if you choose to purchase or use these products.

“Northwest Council of Camera Clubs” Art Show Opening & Artist Reception

• The benefits of residential memory care
• Ways to navigate differing family attitudes toward the move
• How to make a move to memory care, particularly when your family member says “No”

Creating a Successful Plan for a Loved One With Dementia

This workshop, with David Troxel, covers key areas of consideration related to dementia care including safety issues, legal and financial concerns, successful use of community-based services, and a discussion about the benefits of residential memory care programs. Caregivers will leave the workshop with a “toolkit” of techniques and ideas to help them approach this challenging task with greater success and confidence.
