What This Recognition Means

This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the real-life views of the people we serve. As part of this year’s assessment, U.S. News analyzed more than 540,000 survey responses from residents and their family members from more than 3,000 senior living communities.

To be recognized, communities needed to achieve:

• • • A weighted final score of at least .85 (on a scale of 0 to 1) to be recognized as a Best Senior Living Community
    • A score in the top 25% nationally to earn additional accolades for community life
