Join us for the opening of an evocative exhibition featuring the work of artist Sun Watkins, who’s artistic practice centers on interpreting the essence of nature through traditional Asian techniques and materials, reflecting their personal introspection. Each stroke is applied to rice paper and canvas functions as a unique expression, fostering a sense of spontaneity and creative freedom. Emulating the irreversibility of life, the medium does not permit corrections, yet it reveals profound beauty within those imperfections. Embracing this philosophy of “wabi-sabi” represents a continuous learning process, which they find deeply fulfilling. Enjoy a live jazz performance, chef-created appetizers, and refreshments as you take in this beautiful collection and celebrate the artist’s work. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for your convenience. Artist Credit: Sun Watkins “Bashful Spring Day”
