With glistening Lake Washington to one side, majestic Mount Rainier on the other, and gorgeous gardens in between, The Lakeshore offers a picturesque setting for retirement living. You’ll be warmly welcomed by a diverse group of residents and caring staff who will make you feel right at home.
Warmth and energy set the tone at The Lakeshore. Many times, our residents know each other from the neighborhood, or they have worked together in area schools or at Boeing. In fact, on many community tours, someone will recognize a friend living here. The Lakeshore is a retirement community where everyone knows your name – and your children’s and grandchildren’s names too. It’s this spirit that makes so many newcomers and long-time residents feel right at home.
Senior housing options
We offer two types of senior housing options, Independent Living and Assisted Living care, in our 158 senior apartments.
With Independent Living, you get the freedom from the burdens of home ownership and the benefits of the retirement community, including chef-prepared meals, regular social interaction as desired, and enriching activities. While you have the support of the community, you are living completely independently in your apartment home.
At Era Living communities, if and when you need more help, Assisted Living services will come to you in your original apartment. With Assisted Living, you can receive help with various activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, or managing your medications.
Now is the perfect time to plan your move to The Lakeshore, as renovations to expand, redesign, and refine common areas are underway. Stylistically, we are bringing nature in by mixing the dynamics of air and water to create a lighter environment. Couple this with expanded spaces, and we think residents will find it easier to welcome friends, maneuver around the elevator area, and relax in the enhanced wellness center. The project is occurring in phases, and we are pleased to announce that our gorgeous new new dining room opened in October 2017. The rest is scheduled to be complete by early 2018.
