Aljoya Thornton Place has new art on display at our community! This collection, called “Witness” was completed by artist Mary Coss. Mary Coss is a Seattle Visual Artist who creates art through story-telling. In her exhibit Witness, Mary spent time with residents at Aljoya Thornton Place to learn and showcase their stories through a variety of art mediums, including bronze cast sculpture, photography, drawings, and a personal hat collection. The show also includes stunning photography by Paul Mailman. The project was supported, in part, by a grant from 4Culture. Enjoy the video to see the collection!
