Caring.com Again Awards “Caring Star” to Two Era Living Communities
Caring.com, the nation’s top resource for trustworthy senior care ratings and reviews, grants this distinguished award annually to a small percentage of communities. In fact, only six Caring Stars were awarded this year in the entire State of Washington.
These awards mean a great deal to us,” said Nisan Harel, Chief Operating Officer for Era Living. “Since they are based solely on reader sentiment, we take such personal stories to heart. I’m proud of the hard work put in by so many team members to attain this level of excellence. Our residents deserve the utmost in respect, as well as an inviting and caring home. It’s wonderful to know that we’re doing right by them.
University House Issaquah has now qualified for a “Caring Super Star,” an award only granted to multiple-year winners. Awards in 2019, 2022, and 2023 have all contributed to this very prestigious honor.
These were the qualifications met for our 2023 “Caring Stars” for service excellence:
- Fifteen or more published reviews
- Average rating of 4.5 stars or higher
- Four or more reviews from 10/15/21 through 10/15/22, with at least one 5-star review from 2022
- In addition, Caring.com conducts an internal review to ensure the integrity of every top-rated finalist. Licensing and inspection reports are also validated.
We would like to express our gratitude for the many happy residents, family members, and friends who shared their opinions and are thus helping other seniors and their families to find optimal living solutions. We vow to uphold our commitment to innovative housing, programs, and service choices for older adults.
Here is the testimonial of a family who found their senior living solution at University House Issaquah:
This is a caring place where we feel our mom has people who care about her, look out for her health and safety and create numerous opportunities that bring her socialization, mental stimulation and the chance to get out and enjoy our community. Each week is packed with a wide variety of activities from games, to music, to continuing education and academic presentations. She moved up here 8 1/2 years ago from her prior life of independent living in her home. It took us several years to bring her to this decision and she’s never looked back. She is now almost 95 and is doing as well as she is in no small part due to the care and professionalism of University House leadership and staff. –Jan (Read more on Caring.com)
