The communication centers of the brain are damaged in most people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia. Despite the damage, persons with dementia still retain a desire to communicate. This webinar will discuss the loss of language skills many people with dementia experience, and offer strategies for improving communication. The webinar will also include a list of communication do’s and don’ts based upon the Best FriendsTM Approach to Dementia Care practiced by Era Living.
