Exciting News: Reimagining Ida Culver House Ravenna

Our building was first constructed in 1949, and many of us know and love the charm of an older building that stands as a neighborhood legacy. There are also, unfortunately, a number of challenges associated with an aging building. As a result of the pandemic, some of these challenges became more profound for Ida Culver House Ravenna. We are cautiously aware that each passing year without closure places additional strain on the building's aging infrastructure. In order to continue serving seniors for decades to come, we have been exploring a range of possibilities to reimagine and rebuild Ida Culver House Ravenna.

We strongly value our residents' ability to fully enjoy our dedicated services and amenities. As time passes, not only is the aging infrastructure a concern, but also resident opportunity for socialization. We value every resident's experience; and our goal is that they receive the most compassionate care possible. With this in mind, we made the careful decision to no longer move residents into Ida Culver House Ravenna.

We look forward to the day when we can offer older adults the comforts and benefits of a fully-modernized community. Thank you for your understanding and support during this transition period.
