Era Living News, Why Senior Living?

University House Issaquah is very proud to be chosen as one of Caring.com’s “Caring Stars” for 2022!

Based on consumer ratings and reviews from people just like you, this distinguished award helps seniors and their families in the search for optimal living solutions, emphasizing service excellence in a sometimes confusing field of options.

We are actually now a double winner, having won the award in 2019 as well.

On top of that, we are the only senior living community in King County to receive this prestigious award!

Here are the qualifications for a Caring Star:

  • 10 or more published reviews
  • An overall average rating of 4.5 stars or higher
  • 3 or more published reviews from 10/15/20 through 10/15/21, with at least one of the recent reviews being a 5-star review and one or more published in 2021
  • Public-facing responses to any 1-star or 2-star negative reviews
  • In addition, Caring.com conducts an internal review to ensure the integrity of every top-rated finalist. Licensing and inspection reports are also validated.

Caring.com has become the nation’s top site for trustworthy senior care reviews. They are committed to providing families and seniors with needed resources to make the life decisions that are so important to happiness and well-being.

We are so appreciative of the positive sentiments that this award represents, and vow to maintain the high quality housing, programs, and services that our residents and their families have come to expect.

Here is the testimonial of a family who found their senior living solution at University House Issaquah:

Our family moved our Mom into University House Issaquah 3 years ago. Our experience has been wonderful. The entire staff greets all residents by name and with a smile! The building is well maintained from the beautifully landscaped grounds to the well appointed and clean community areas inside. The beautiful restaurant style dining room is very relaxing and a great place to visit with family or friends over lunch or dinner. The front desk personnel are very friendly and always willing to help answer your questions. The planned social activities are varied and plentiful with the residents interests in mind. The Wellness Center can provide assisted care, if needed. Services are provided in the residents own apt. so the residents don’t have to move. We found the nursing staff to be very responsive to our mom/family needs or concerns. They were very helpful in developing appropriate care plans. Our family loves to visit our mom here!
