Congressman Jim Mc Dermott Joins University of Washington Retirement Association Gathering at University House Wallingford

SEATTLE, May 3, 2012 -- Congressman Jim McDermott met with members of the University of Washington Retirement Association (UWRA) and residents of University House Wallingford at University House.

As Senior Member of the House Ways and Means Committee, McDermott is part of one of the most powerful committees in Congress.  He discussed D.C. politics and shared his thoughts on how government can work together to create solutions.
